Querida Sims is a healthcare professional, policy professional, and U.S. Army veteran with a deep commitment to helping everyday Americans understand the policies that shape their lives. She currently works in framing health policy and brings a powerful combination of clinical expertise, military leadership, and academic excellence to her speaking engagements.

Querida served as a U.S. Army Officer in healthcare administration, where she gained firsthand experience navigating complex healthcare systems and making high-stakes decisions that impact both patients and organizations. In addition, she has over 20 years of experience as an emergency and critical care nurse, giving her a frontline perspective on the realities of healthcare in America.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University. Her educational background, combined with decades of real-world experience, allows her to break down complex healthcare and political issues into clear, relatable insights.

As a wife, mother, Baptist, and committed conservative, Querida brings both strong values and thoughtful perspective to her work. She is a supporter of constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment, and believes in informed, respectful civic engagement.
